Recently, I felt the call to begin to write the songs that God was placing in my heart. I then called upon my friend, Dave Phillips, for help. Together, we’ve written several songs, and we have a few more in the works. What a cathartic process! This Sunday, we will unveil one of the songs we’ve written for our local church, Hope Fellowship. Upon hearing about our next sermon series through the book of Exodus, I challenged myself to write songs relevant to each season of that series. Our first song, I AM, aims to cover the first 15 chapters. What a challenge to cover so much material in one song! The process, however, was amazing, and we can’t wait to write about the next season.
